| The room was very quiet-couldn't hear anything in the hallway or other rooms, which was nice. The area that the hotel is located was full of nice places to eat and close to Mayo. The only thing I didn't like was the value--it is a top-price hotel but does not include certain amenities that other hotels of the same quality have (like free wireless or breakfast). Next time I will try the Hilton.
As always, the staff was fantastic and the hotel was beautiful. |

| We were craving seafood and the hotel suggested Michaels walking distance. The filet was good but the friend shrimp looked like cheap frozen shrimp. I'm sure it used to be nice but is now run down, needs new carpet and wallpaper and is musty smelling, would not go back. Didn't sleep until 2am were on 7th floor overlooking pool could NOT get the room cool but friends across the hall said their room was plenty cool. Would stay at hotel again, rooms nice and bed super comfy! |

| Hotel was not close to St. Mary's Hospital Mayo Rochester. The exercise facility was under construction and the only option was another hotel. |

| The Rochester, MN, is right next to the Mayo Clinic and Mayo Building. They are under renovation, April 14 thru ?, but they do a fine job of keeping everyone comfortable. They still have valet parking at $17.00 per day, but you can park in nearby ramps - don't know what that cost would be. The rooms are nice and the beds are very compfy. |

| Fun time in Rochester. Thanks to Marriott staff for a great time! Room was very clean! Location was ideal. Under construction but it did not matter. |

| Very comfortable bed. Nice room with modern decor. Room was clean, service was friendly and attentive. Don't recommend the hotel restaurant. Overpriced and food was not that great. |

| After we were already all loaded into the room, we noticed the toilet was DIRTY with someone obviously having been sick in it. They offered another room or to have it cleaned. Since all our bags were settled we had them clean it, but wish we had moved. The toilet was slow that night but at 6:30 am it was overflowing. When we called, management wouldn't allow us to use the bathroom next door but instead told us to go to the pool area and use the public restrooms there. They sent up a maintenance man at 7 am to plunge it which woke up the two who were still sleeping. The hotel did compensate us with the room pricing but I let them know the toilet was still slow and hoped they wouldn't put someone else into it until they fixed it properly. I expected more from a Marriott. |
